The Forest Table

The Forest Table draws inspiration from below the forest canopy – an array of solid wood trunks creating a rhythmic texture below the upper surface / the treetop. The table top and legs are different systems that interlock to create a unified piece. The legs consist of stacked CNC’d modules, concealed and finished with veneer. The stacked modules are a repeated component to produce a cluster field of legs, resembling a collection of trees. The table incorporates inlays of tempered glass, allowing light to filter through and illuminate the green interior of the legs.
